Creating Scrapbooking Brag Books

What better gift than a brag book for grandma and grandpa? Over the years, I know that my parents have always appreciated photos that have been shared with them of all of their grandchildren.
As parents, we love attending plays, dance recitals, choral performances and graduations, whether from preschool, elementary school or high school. Grandparents are not always in town or available to attend these events. They too enjoy sharing in the pride of these days.

Simple Scrapbooks’ Digital Magazine Editorial & Creative Boards Announced

Simple Scrapbooks recently released the list of the members of Editorial Board and Creative Board for their newly acquired Digital Scrapbooking magazine: According to Editorial Board member Clara Wallace, the Digital Scrapbooking magazine will be a quarterly starting early 2007. There will be the print mag as well as the digitalscrapbooking.com website which will have content contributed by the board. Private Equity Firm Buys Two Utah Scrapbooking Companies

Miami, Florida-based H.I.G. Capital, a private equity and venture capital firm, said today that it has acquired the majority interest in two Utah-based firms that provide scrapbooking products. H.I.G. Capital has purchased Die Cuts With A View, which is based in Provo, Utah; and Pressed Petals, which is based in Richfield, Utah. The firm is combining the two into DCWV, Inc. Both firms produce themed papers, stickers, embellishments, and other decorations for the scrapbooking market. Die Cuts With A View was listed as the fastest growing Utah company in the 2005 “Inc. 500 Fastest-Growing Private Companies” list.

Creative Memories to Expand into Digital Scrapbooking

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (Aug. 18, 2006) – To maximize resources and expand its presence in the digital scrapbooking market, The Antioch Company, the parent company of Creative Memories, will close its Sparks, Nev., facility on Oct. 20, 2006, and will transfer manufacturing and distribution operations to its St. Cloud, Minn., and Richmond, Va., facilities. Eighty-five employee-owners were affected by the Sparks facility closure.
