Kaukauna Community Health Associates will sponsor its 35th annual Tour of Homes, “Decade of Dreams,” from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today. Three homes in the Kaukauna-Combined Locks area will be featured as well as Bridal Elegance in Kaukauna. Proceeds are used to fund college scholarships for students in health-related fields and for a variety of community health needs. Tickets are $8. St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 108 S. Sixth St., Hilbert, will hold its 25th annual Spaghetti Supper from 3 to 7 p.m. today in the church social hall. The meal will include spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, relishes, cheese, applesauce and homemade pie. Carry-outs are available, but diners should bring their own containers. A country store and raffle ticket sale will also be held. The raffle drawing is at 8 p.m. Supper tickets are $6.50 adults, $4.50 children. Children ages 4 and under are free. The supper is sponsored by Catholic Knights Branch 157.

A benefit for Ryan Young is set for 2 to 8 p.m. today at Super Bowl, 2222 E. Northland Ave., Appleton. Young, a 26-year-old father and husband, suffered multiple head injuries in a hit-and-run accident last fall. He had two reconstructive surgeries, but can no longer work due to continued impairments. Young did not have health insurance to cover his medical costs. The benefit will include bowling, food, silent auction, bake sale, raffles and kids’ games. The second annual Reader Cup Golf Outing will be held Monday at Butte des Morts Country Club, 3600 W. Prospect Ave., Grand Chute. A shotgun start is at noon, followed by a silent auction, buffet dinner and awards presentation. Electric cart, lunch, dinner and beverage tickets are included in the $125-per-person fee. Russ Wilson, a veteran of Desert Shield and Desert Storm, has been diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma (cancer of the bile ducts) and needs a liver transplant. To help raise the $150,000 to $220,000 needed for medical expenses associated with a transplant, a benefit night is being held Wednesday at Solea Mexican Grill, 705 Appleton Road, Menasha. Mention the Russ Wilson Benefit and the restaurant will donate 20 percent of purchases to support Wilson. Ladies of St. Therese will hold their fall rummage sale 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Therese Catholic Church, 217 E. Wisconsin Ave., Appleton. The sale takes place in the activity center beneath the gym. Shoppers should use the east entrance near the playground. Friday will feature a $2 bag sale on clothes and 50 percent off other items.

The first Elena’s Hope Research Fund Charity Dinner will be held Friday at Liberty Hall, 800 Eisenhower Drive, Kimberly. Proceeds will help fund research for mitochondrial disease, which is currently incurable, and strikes more children than cancer each year. Miron Construction, Neenah, and Larry’s Piggly Wiggly, Kaukauna, are sponsors. Doors open at 5 p.m. with a social and silent auction, with dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the live auction following. The American Cancer Society’s annual “Zero to 60″ gala event to raise money and awareness to help fight cancer will be held Friday beginning at 6 p.m., at the Bergstrom facilities in Appleton. The 2006 event, presented by Affinity Health System, features a progressive evening moving from one facility to the next at Bergstrom’s dealerships on Victory Lane. The evening begins with hors d’oeuvres and a champagne reception at Bergstrom Porsche followed by a seated dinner at Bergstrom Enterprise Motorcars. The event also includes a European coffee bar at Bergstrom Premier Motorcars, live music at Bergstrom Lexus, and a silent and live auction at each facility. Individual tickets are $125. The Boys’ & Girls’ Brigade is partnering with Scrapbook & Stamping Memories in Appleton to host a weekend scrapbooking retreat Friday through Sept. 17 at Camp Onaway, Waupaca. Camp Forest’s sixth annual Art, Craft and Bake Sale will be held Friday and Saturday at Camp Forest on U.S. 10, just east of the junction of State 57 and U.S. 10, Forest Junction. St. Mary Menasha, 528 Second St., Menasha, will be serving homemade soups after the 4:45 p.m. mass Saturday. Chicken noodle and beef vegetable will be the featured soups. The Iola Living Oaks events committee will hold a four-person golf scramble Saturday at Glacier Wood Golf Course in Iola. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. with an 11 a.m. shotgun start. The golf outing will be followed by a dinner with social hour to start at 4 p.m. and dinner at 5:30 p.m. A fee of $70 includes 18 holes of golf and dinner. Dinner-only guests cost $20 per person. The ninth annual Memory Walk to support the local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association takes place Saturday at Menominee Park-Kiwanis Shelter, corner of Irving and Hazel Streets, in Oshkosh. The Wolf River Area Healthcare Foundation holds its third annual dinner and auction Sept. 19 at Crystal Falls Banquet Facility, 1500 Handschke Drive, New London. The event will open at 5 p.m. with refreshments, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction. Dinner and a brief program will be followed by a “take away” auction, conducted by New London Police Chief Kevin Wilkinson and attorney Tom Johnson. Donated items include custom-designed cabinetry, a basket of fine wine, landscaping product and labor, a YMCA family membership, concert tickets and Green Bay Packers game tickets.
