Scrapbooking is historians’ topic
The News Sun
It’s fun taking lots of photos, but sometimes the more you take, the more end up in boxes around the house.
Whether it’s finding the time to do something with them, or trying to decide how to organize them, it can be frustrating. This is where the craft of scrapbooking can help.
If you are interested in learning techniques, or if you are a seasoned veteran, you are invited to join the Middleburg Heights Historical Society for a day-long fundraiser, Scrappin’ Our Memories. This will take place noon to 10 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Middleburg Heights Community Center. The cost is $30 per person and includes food, beverage, goody bag filled with scrapping supplies and entry into a drawing for a significant door prize. Everyone’s invited to bring friends and family.
Proceeds will further the society’s efforts to preserve the history of our community. Contact Carole Minch (440) 234-1956 to reserve your spot.
