Game Commission seeks ‘Scrapbook’ entries

The state Game Commission wants hunters and trappers to share photos of their success stories through the agency’s “Hunter-Trapper Photo Scrapbook and the “Junior Hunter Scrapbook on its Web site.

“We’re interested in showing the photographs of hunters who have taken a trophy animal in one of the state’s big game seasons, or trappers or predator callers who have taken a bobcat or coyote and trappers who have taken an exceptional beaver, said J. Carl Graybill Jr., director of the commission’s Bureau of Information and Education. “We’re looking for sharp color photos that depict a proud hunter with his or her trophy.

The photos are organized in annual collections, which include the Mentored Youth Hunting Program for photos of hunters under 12 years of age.

The scrapbooks, along with more information, are found by going to www.pgc.state.pa.us and clicking on “Hunter-Trapper Scrapbook in the center of the home page.
