EGC offers scrapbooking class

East Georgia College Division of Continuing Education will offer a Scrapbooking Class on Feb. 20 and 27 from 6- 7:30 p.m. in Room J527, located in the Luck Flanders Gambrell Building.

“This will be an evening of educational, hands-on scrapbooking instruction,” said Denise Coleman, instructor. “I will provide advice, personalized support and tools to help you create an album of memories. To get started, each participant should bring 15 - 20 photos that can be mounted on scrapbook pages.

Participants can create specific topic albums such as School Days, Travel, Wedding, Hobby, Christmas, or general albums such as Family. Participants will review and select a layout and add journaling to preserve the memories in a storybook form. At the end of the second session, participants will have numerous pages completed in their scrapbook.

Fee for the course is $20 plus supplies. A supply list will be provided upon registration, or supplies can be purchased from the instructor for $35. For more information and to register, call Donna Freeman at 478- 289-2108.
