Republic offers Winter Wonderland Scrapbook series

Republic Parks and Recreation Department and “Two Scrappy Moms� will offer a Winter Wonderland Scrapbook series starting Feb. 20.

The department said the series will consist of four 90-minute classes from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays at the Republic Community Center.

Cost is $50 for the entire series or $13 for an individual class. Pre-registration is required at the center. Payment is due upon registering.

In each class, participants will create a two-page scrapbook layout with a winter-related theme.

Participants need to bring four of five of their favorite winter photos, markers, adhesive, scissors and a paper trimmer (if they have one). All other supplies and a light snack will be provided.

Free babysitting will be available for those enrolled in the class. Contact the parks department at 417-732-3500 for more information.
