Scrapbookers unite online

The scrapbooking industry has exploded in the past few years, with the hobby growing so popular that there are now more households with a scrapbooker than with a golfer - that amounts to one in four households. In fact, according to 2005 reports from the Craft Hobby Association, scrapbooking is a $3.7 billion industry.

In response to this trend, Better Homes & Gardens’ sister magazine, Scrapbooks etc., will be holding the first online event for scrapbookers, “Scrap-A-Faire.”

What: It’s the first-of-its-kind, five-day online festival where Web users can learn new techniques, chat with the biggest names in the industry and shop for the latest products.

Who: Scrapbook enthusiasts of all ages, skill levels and backgrounds.
